3. hmm where to start. I have all the movies, it is a classic battle of good versus evil with a twist for where the Storm troopers originally were fighting for the Jedi Knights but because of the evil sith lords devious plans ended up being enforcers the the republic. the Republic at first stood for law and order and fairness to all and were protected by the jedi order. That all changed once the sith lord managed to take control of the high counsel and convinced them that the jedi were against them. After the clone wars the sith managed to control the republic to where the storm troopers were loyal to and such became part of the sith order under there rule. Only the Rebels now were in the way of the Republic and with only a few jedi left hope was dim.

But this game is of the old republic time a time where the troopers are of good and clear differences between the Sith and Jedi are seen. The path of the Jedi is what I seek.

I will play daily unless RL circumstances occur or
illness. Purpose is what I seek, If I am gaming with members or soling
to achieve items or skill I will be here. I will not be those members
who look only to receive a give very little for
I know it takes a village to achieve the highest parts of any MMO. With
that in mind I choose not to be selfish and will give my time to help
improve members for the betterment of the guild and in turn hope the same will be returned.

6. Why do you feel the Army of Light is a good fit for you? your name is what drew me. I have read your write up of your guild and what you say is your outlook of the game and guild. You play on the good side of the balance someone who represents the core of what star-wars was all about. I want to be a part of that and help you grow to be the best guild around.

7. What do you expect of the guild? Please be specific. Friends, Players of like mind looking to accomplish the same goals. Members to group with to achieve goals not only for ones self but to also help the guild in the process. A place of Organization to where each member knows the rules and knows what to expect. A place of leadership.

experience/expectations. Can you give us some examples of Role-Playing
you have participated in before. When it comes to expectations, give
us an example of what would be fun to participate in, what you are
looking for, etc. Two Roles. I enjoy being the protector of a well tuned group. Tanking has been my forte but I also love to be a damage dealer also so if I can have my character do both and be successful that is what I strive for. EQ I, I played a guardian and a wizard and enjoyed them both. Moved to EQ2 when it came out and played another Guardian. they ended up nurfing the Guardian to were everyone wanted a shadowknight to tank for they had the best parching and my Guardian became a second thought when there were no shadowKnights available.

I have played many MMO's, Starwars Galaxies, Tribes, Conan, Battle tanks, I have enjoyed them all. I still play at times but seem to be always drawn to the new games that come out like StarTrek online to where I spend most of my time on. Only reason I do not play much on the other for they have died out somewhat to where the guilds I am in become inactive and all your friends stopped logging in or quit all together. I hope This game will be long lasting with dedicated players

11. How can you benefit and help the guild? Please include any skills or talents you have that you would
enjoy doing within the guild. How have you helped your previous guild(s), if you have previous experience? Prior guilds I have always seem to start at the bottom and worked my way up into some sort of leadership position. Frankly I think that best for that shows dedication to the cause and purpose of the guild. I enjoy leading groups to success by either finding out how the quest or missions are done correctly or by taking notes and finding out how to do it successfully. This of course will only be able to do with a good group willing to cooperate.

15. Would you say that you embody the qualities of
Respect, Honor, Loyalty, and Maturity? What are your definitions of
these four words? Please don’t just answer yes or no, let us know why
you think you possess these qualities. I am a Christian and these virtues are part of my morals and principles. I strive to live my life with Honor and respect. I served in the army for 20 years and continue to serve in the reserves as a Master Sergent. I have been to Afghanistan Twice and have been told that my service will not be needed overseas anymore.

16. Tell us about a time
you offered assistance to someone who did not ask for it but clearly
needed it. If you have never had this experience, tell us what you would do if faced with that situation? Everquest 2 there was a quest to where you used an item to give you direction to where you can find items buried in order to piece together a well thought after blade. I was running threw on the way to the Griffin Tower when I say a bard who look like he was trying to pace steps to find where to dig. I ran up to him and said Hail to you. He replied hail back and I said. Looking for the blade Items? He replied: for three days now. I just don't know what I am doing wrong. Well I know just how this guy feels for I have been in his position many times so I say to him: I got some time would you like some help? and he replied in caps: PLEASE I WILL EVEN PAY YOU!!.. I did the character laugh for I really did get a chuckle from that and said. No need for that lets get started. We ended up finding all his 8 items in about 3 hours. He was very grateful but I refused all him money and just asked if I could add him to my friends list which we did and we ended up becoming great online playing companions. I have done this several times in many MMO's but I have found that not all players are alike and some just take advantage of the help and can be very rude at times but I have always considered it my good deed of the day.

Role-play Scenario (please tell us how you would handle the situation):
You are leading a group of 3 others through a forest on a remote moon
to destroy an enemy communications relay. Up ahead in a clearing, you
happen to spot a small Sith camp. Your group has not yet been spotted by
the enemy. You are reasonably well supplied for your mission, including
armaments. The clearing containing the Sith camp is not necessarily in
your direct path to reach your original mission objective. Attacking the
camp could alert the guards at the relay. However, attacking the relay without first dealing with the camp could mean enemy reinforcements from the camp. What do you do? I would have to determine if taking out the camp would help us be more successful in are mission or not. By your description you do not say that if we have alerted the relay that there would be more guards only that they would be aware of us. also you say it "could" alert the guards by attacking the camp but not necessarily do so. In evaluating the options I have 2 good reasons to attack the camp first. First I would only have to deal with the original force with no reinforcements coming and would rest on my Knowledge of my groups capabilities of destroying anything that may get in our way of our objective. Second would be I may also still be able to take out the camp without alerting the guards and if I could do that than I even have a greater chance to complete our mission successfully.

of our guild family - a very important question!) well I have said alot already in my previous reply's but will try to give more info of myself. Born may 16, 1963. I am a Father of 2 a son and a Daughter. my son is 21 and my daughter 14. I am a Christian and raise my Children the same. I am a man and believe in the responsibilities of being a man, a father and protector of my families life and Honor. I am a man of Principles and Faith and look to do what is right in all things. I respect all men and women but will lose respect for those who chose not to treat me the same. I am a man of understanding and it takes alot to rub me the wrong way I am straight forward and honest and a man of my word. If I say I am going to do something I do not make excuses later for not doing it. I am ambitious to a sort and always look to achieve to most out of whatever it may be.

Good luck on getting in, I had always wanted to try Star Trek, but there were too many MMO's out there for me, but now im justwaiting for TOR and playing LOTRO cause its free

PS: Question 2b refers to whether you will become a Jedi Sentinel or a Jedi Guardian.

(A quick overview can be found at http://www.swtor.com/info/holonet/classes/jedi-knight - scroll down and click the specializations tab.)

Looks like the Guardian is more of a tank the the Sentinel duel weld and does more damage. I would think the Guardian would be more needed if it plays out anything like EQ or EQ2 for the Guardian also gives inspiration. I am figuring Guardian than for I would think that would be most helpful to the guild. But if the Sentinel is only a shuttle difference than I would not mind being able to do more damage also.
