Ok, I have watched all Six Movies...I am currently reading the SWTOR graphic novels. I always go on to wookiepedia to the featured article and go to "hardcore: fan website forums i.e. TheForce.net to always try and learn more from the more knowledgeable...I can say that my knowledge of the Star Wars cannon is pretty limited...but i am always willing to learn and to do extensive research on a topic.

Left game and guild because...i was goin to be deploying to an area without internet and i was also getting tired of wow.


5. What type of role do you wish to take within the guild? How do you plan to be active? Please be specific.*

I wish to take an active role not only in-game but in the forums and whatever other forms of networking we will have. In-game by helping others that may or may not be lower level than I. in anyway i can wether it is going to help someone finish a tough mission or as simple as showing someone where the Item/Gear shop is located. I am one for not exactly rushing to End-game but more for the camaraderie when everyone is enjoying a game that they have been waiting on forever and proud fans of the Star Wars Universe having fun.


6. Why do you feel the Army of Light is a good fit for you?*

When I am serching for a guild, there are somethings that always stand out to me about any guild, no matter the game. One is the organization of a guild...What is the rank structure? What are the Rules and Regulations of that guild? How are they enforced?...How are the guild's communication skills in and out of game?...and finally does everyone get to be heard from the highest ranking general to the lowest ranking private does everyone have a chance to have his or her voice heard?...and I can honestly say that the Army of Light has come to inbody all of that i have stated above and then some. Before I even contemplated on posting an Application I was awed by how you guys took pride in your guild and pride being part of IT. When some one has a question that maybe common knowledge to the rest, he doesnt get bashed for not knowing. Just the simple fact that you guys have a lengthy application shows how dedicated you are and how dedicated you guys expect your peers to be...I can Honestly say that even if im not allowed access, that I remember this guild as a standard for guild searching has to continue.


7. What do you expect of the guild? Please be specific.*

I expect to meet a lot of cool people who have a genuine passion for some of the same things as I (Star Wars, MMOs, Video Gaming) so with that said should be a recipe for a great enviornment with alot of laughs and something I cant wait to get home to jump in on. I see people i meet in a guild as possible long time firends...now that may be a stretch but im always down with meet new chill people, people who will be there to talk even when you can just log on to say hi and catch up with everyone.

I have only tasted Role-Playing in games like City of Heroes and World of Warcraft. on both occasions i was learning. one being more fantasy while the other bing superhero but a more realism feel. What I would love to do is Role Play a whole Jedi Academy within the ranks of the Jedi players within the guild...where you start from padawan and train and have a Master etc. etc. and even our High Counil you know. i think that would be AWESOME.


11. How can you benefit and help the guild? Please include any skills or talents you have that you would
enjoy doing within the guild. How have you helped your previous guild(s), if you have previous experience?*

I cant say that i usually specialize in anything really but one thing i always remember doing in other guilds where taking the time to show people who were new to the game and not always new to gaming necessarily but to the mmo genre. I never was the one to rush to the end level i took my time and enjoyed the game for all it was and never had a problem going through old areas to help guildmates who may have had a problem with missions and so on.



12. How do you define a quality member?*

I define a quality member as someone who is patient and kind. they do not envy nor do they boast. they are not rude or only self-seeking, they are not easily angered and do not hold grudges. they do not delight in bullies but are rallied with Justice. They always protect their own, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres.


13. How did you find the Army of Light? Did someone recruit you? If so, please let us know who.*

I actually Found Army of Light by just reading through wookiepedia one day and decided to check out the website. and was automatically star struck by the presentation of the guild and later cemented in

Roger, I have fimilarized myself with all of the above...You guys Rules of Conduct seem to mirror alot of my Careers Rules of Conduct amd Mission (U.S. Army)

I have already taken an Oath to my country(Active Army) so i feel like you guys have a grasp of the loyalty builds character idea. which i have no problem commiting to.


15. Would you say that you embody the qualities of Respect, Honor, Loyalty, and Maturity? What are your definitions of these four words? Please don’t just answer yes or no, let us know why you think you possess these qualities.*

In an earlier question you ask me to pledge to “treat others with dignity and respect while expecting others to do the same.” Respect is what allows us to appreciate the best in other people. Respect is trusting that all people have done their jobs and fulfilled their duty. And self-respect is a vital ingredient with any guild, which results from knowing you have put forth your best effort. The Army of Light is one team and each of us has something to contribute. In our Nation the highest military award is The Medal of Honor. This award goes to Soldiers who make honor a matter of daily living. I feel like I am a person who develops the habit of being honorable, and solidifies that habit with every value choice I make. Honor is a matter of carrying out, acting, and living the values of respect, loyalty, and Maturity and in everything I do. I aslo encompass being aware of the correct time and place to behave and knowing when to act appropriately, according to the situation and the culture of the situation i am in. I aslo feel that Maturity is the ability to respond to circumstances or environments in an appropriate and adaptive manner.




16. Tell us about a time you offered assistance to someone who did not ask for it but clearly needed it. If you have never had this experience, tell us what you would do if faced with that situation?

I have found myself in alot of those situations where i was helping someone who didnt personally ask for help from me but had be slightly samming in the world chat about someone helping him find a NPC outside the near big city but the MOBs around said NPC were to too tough for him to reach and complete his mission. This was actually my last day playing while about a year and a half ago. well i helped him just kill a couple MOBs which were way lower than I and mostly the rest of the player characters in the City...i didn't understand why no one wud help this guy for something real quick, and after that i just gave him all my gold that i had on that character (which was my main)...it was so much i had to almost argue him to take it...until i expalined to him that I had decided that this was going to be my last time playing while forever and that he was such a good sport in his patience and preseverence that i thought he should have it.


17. Role-play Scenario (please tell us how you would handle the situation): You are leading a group of 3 others through a forest on a remote moon to destroy an enemy communications relay. Up ahead in a clearing, you happen to spot a small Sith camp. Your group has not yet been spotted by the enemy. You are reasonably well supplied for your mission, including armaments. The clearing containing the Sith camp is not necessarily in your direct path to reach your original mission objective. Attacking the camp could alert the guards at the relay. However, attacking the relay without first dealing with the camp could mean enemy reinforcements from the camp. What do you do?

well if we get to pick the classes that are with us. I would have my smuggler go steatlth and put active guards of the camp to sleep with his tazer. then I would have my Counsular do a Force Persuade on the rest to make all of the other sith look like jedi to each other and watch the camp implode as My Heavy Gun Trooper and I (Jedi Knight) go in for the destruction of the Relay.

Well My name is Micah. I am in the Army actively just return from Mazar-i-Sharif on a 12 month deployment. I am happy to be home...well not home im still in germany rite now...but will be coming back home to the states in July. I love to hang out and listen to all kinds of music and movies. I am a firm believer (especially when it comes to forums) that if you dont have anything constructive to add to the coversation dont say anything at all and all in-game voice chat, Vent, etc. I do not like trolling or cyber bullying of any kind, either it be in-game or out. and lastly i am a single father who is just looking to enjoy myself with a great group of people in a game that i know i am gonna LOVE.

-Character Physical/Mental Features: Kaz Doth is a young and brash Zabrak who is about 5'7" and slim build who is already known for his speed and agility

-Character Biography: Kaz is a Male Zabrak who loves to be the center of attention, but it is never the right attention. which seems to not affect him at all...unlike a lot a jedi padawan Kaz was was actually found as an infant on the steps on the rebuilt jedi temple steps by one of the High Jedi Council Members who notice him as being amassively force sensitive...little else is known about Kaz's path...hw has swore to uphold the Virtues of the Jedi Order while seeking for answers for questions he has of his own.

With that successfully completed, you will report to the Jedi branch leaders (Master Caliber Mispir or Master Shoja Fodun) for general class branch training and to General Bren Durron or Master Vyynn Randos for Squadron/Platoon assignment. Squadrons will act as your home within your home and help acclimate you to guild life and try to answer any questions you may have.

Whoah not cool. this is Kaz and I made this account just so that I would atleast be heard out before just cut off. like i said before, I am in the U.S. Army and for you guys to just cut me off with giving me any chance to explain is totally unreasonable. I spent about 3 hours filling out my expectations to your liking about "loyalty and Respect for others and Maturity" for you to turn around and and refuse to show me any. If you came from behind the computer and joined me and my comrades you would see that, LOYALTY is a LIFE or DEATH promise you make to your fellow soldiers not just something you throw around on a forum. I am in a Gaurded location where government computers do not allow you to get on any game related websites (anyone who has worked for the government can attess) so it was no chance for me to free my name on the SWTOR website because i cannot access it till i go home. that is the reason...nothing more...nothing less. But if you guys are seriously just willing to cut people who take their precious time to execute what you ask as precise as i did and just throw them to the side like garbage than it is your guild and you will do with it what you please.

if that does not suffice enough for you guys than that is all i can give and it is the God honest truth.

Unfortunately we're in a game that includes a lot of immature people who try to pull stunts like throwing someone in a rival guild to cause trouble. But you'll notice that's why it's suspended and not deleted. We're interested in your story.

What is curious to me is that you only applied to HotR on the 23rd and did not mention your military status in your application there. You also did not mention them in your application to us.

Would you shed light on all this for us please?

Well honestly I'm not suppose to to be giving out that information period for fear of compromising the mission so I just don't share that information to everyone and it is also at my own risk. That no one on the forum is is a possible enemy to the united states, but if you notice I did mention Germany and the timezone. I honestly did not know about the poor quality of that guild and had never considered myself a part of it. Which is why I didn't mention them on my application. We you ask about previous guilds I was under the assumption that you meant guilds that I actually had time in and gaming expirence with. Not a guild who I had just applied to and knew nothing about at all. If need be I will denounce them on the SWTOR website to prove my alligence. I really don't know how else to prove that it was a honest mistake and nothing more.

Still, you should not be ashamed of being part of that guild. If you really denounced your oath to that guild, hopefully the HC or RC will reconsider.

Sometimes a week is not really sufficient time to get the true feel for a guild. Why did you decide to leave?
