3. Please describe your knowledge of Star Wars? The more detailed the better, please: * Watched all the movies, read a lot comic books such as: Legacy, Dark Times, and Knights of the Old Republic, and I have been keeping up with SWTOR news.

4. Please tell us about your other guild/MMO experiences. If there is more than one guild/experience, please include all of them. If you left your last guild, please tell us why you decided to leave. If you have used more than one name, please list them all.*

The closest I have been to playing an MMO was Runescape. Other than that, I have no MMO experiences.

Well, I plan to take on more responsibility, be active on forums, and have fun with the guild Smile

6. Why do you feel the Army of Light is a good fit for you?*

Well, I kinda went inactive for a while but I remember that I really liked this guild so I came back. I found a home at AL and a great atmosphere that was created by everyone that was here. I missed it a lot.

7. What do you expect of the guild? Please be specific.*

I hope that when I am here, the guild can just have fun and everybody can get along. I wish that guild members won't judge each other and there would be no fighting. I love it when everybody gets along and we all just have a good time.

Well, I'm not 16, but I am 15. I was in the guild before.

10.Role-Play experience/expectations. Can you give us some examples of Role-Playing you have participated in before. When it comes to expectations, give us an example of what would be fun to participate in, what you are looking for, etc.*

I participated in several chat RPs and some forum RPs. I love big battles where different squads come into play and every move you make matters.

11. How can you benefit and help the guild? Please include any skills or talents you have that you would enjoy doing within the guild. How have you helped your previous guild(s), if you have previous experience?*

I would like to help fellow members with their assignments (if the masters allow it) or to atleast do some sort of training and classes. I would also help the guild with any problems if they need advice. I can also help plan RPs.

12. How do you define a quality member?*

One that is active and can be serious when needed but fair and doesn't think their above everyone else.

13. How did you find the Army of Light? Did someone recruit you? If so, please let us know who.* I saw it on the SWTOR guild thread.

I have visited all of these places and I read everything of importance.

14b. Do you pledge to fulfill them, most notably to uphold the virtues of Maturity, Honor, Respect, Personal Ethics and No Drama?*

Nobody is perfect, I pledge to fulfill the rules, but if I break them, I will take any punishment that comes with the consequences.

14c. The Army of Light wishes to have members who take the concept of Commitment and Loyalty very seriously. By applying and if accepted, you are taking an Oath to both the guild and your guild-mates here. Is this something to which you can commit?

I swear to always be faithful and true to this commitment forever.

15. Would you say that you embody the qualities of Respect, Honor, Loyalty, and Maturity? What are your definitions of these four words? Please don’t just answer yes or no, let us know why you think you possess these qualities.*

Respect - I dont think I am above everybody and I treat my fellow members equally. Honor - I have been true to the rules of the light and I always will be. Loyalty - I never strayed from the guild onto another path. Maturity - I used to break a couple rules, and I admit that, but I promise to follow them more strictly this time.

16. Tell us about a time you offered assistance to someone who did not ask for it but clearly needed it. If you have never had this experience, tell us what you would do if faced with that situation? Well I have helped people with different tasks they needed to do. Honestly, I haven't had anybody come up to me and ask me for help. I am willing to help if they asked. If someone needed my help, I would ask them what they need, how far are they in accomplishing their goal, and what I can do to help.

17. Role-play Scenario (please tell us how you would handle the situation): You are leading a group of 3 others through a forest on a remote moon to destroy an enemy communications relay. Up ahead in a clearing, you happen to spot a small Sith camp. Your group has not yet been spotted by the enemy. You are reasonably well supplied for your mission, including armaments. The clearing containing the Sith camp is not necessarily in your direct path to reach your original mission objective. Attacking the camp could alert the guards at the relay. However, attacking the relay without first dealing with the camp could mean enemy reinforcements from the camp. What do you do?

I would wait for nightfall to send in a small strike team to attack from inside the camp using stealth. While they attack from the inside, the rest of the group would attack the outer perimeter of the camp using stealth and the shadows to their advantage. Eventually, when the camp is taken, the group can remain at the camp and use it as a base of operations for the next assignment, eliminating the relay. After choosing people from the group to head out with me to the communications relay, we take the Sith gaurd's uniforms, and head out for the camp. We tell the remaining group to watch our backs and keep an eye out for any reinforcments that might try to come from behind. When we enter, we can plant the explosive charges, and attack the Sith from within their ranks. We then make our way out of the station where we meet up with the remaining members of the group and move towards the escape shuttle where we watch the relay go up in flames.

18. In more than 50 but less than 200 words, please describe your personal character and the type of person you are (We wish to get a good feel of the type of person that will be becoming a part
of our guild family - a very important question!)* I am a serious person when it comes to respect, honor, loyalty, and many other things the guild strives for. I know that these things aren't easy to fulfill and often, it breaks you down until their is nothing left. I don't let things like this bother me. It doesn't matter how hard you get hit but how hard you can get hit and keep moving. This is what I keep saying to myself and what I say to other members that need it. My character Dash Verne knows his way around the galaxy and has encountered his fair share of danger. He can use a blaster with expert skill and has a whole list of contacts and other sources of information. He doesn't dispair when all seems lost, he fights to the end with bravery, and valor. I think that words don't describe the man or woman who fights for the light, but their courage and loyalty do.

19. Tell us a little about your in-game character*
-Character Name: Dash Verne
-Character Physical/Mental Features: Dash Verne is well built and has seen brutal treatment at the hands of the Sith. He has many scars to prove the brutality and force of his enemies, including one across his eye. He sometimes flashbacks to the times he was captured but he can still focus on major things such as the war with the darkside.
-Character Biography:
When Dash Verne was young, playing in the streets of Ord Mantell, a smuggler raid on his town killed his parents and forced Dash to take to the streets. He learned how to survive the harshest parts of the galaxy without anybody to teach him. He was pretty much on his own until he met a Bonthan smuggler. He helped Dash with his problems in the local gang that was hounding him. In exchange for his help, the bonthan wanted Dash to join his smuggling group. He saw potential in Dash and he didn't want it to go to waste. He took him under his wing and taught him the life of a smuggler. When the Bonthan died, another smuggler took his place and almost led the whole gang into destruction. He made stupid decisions that cost the lives of many smugglers, inculding good friends of Dash. He was a coward and when he died, nobody grieved for him. Everybody knew that things would change when Dash took over...and thats exactly what happened, change. The smuggling group no longer supplied whoever paid the most, it supplied the Republic, which was how it learned of Dash. Dash's smuggling group was used to transport different valuable resources to Republic outposts all over the galaxy, although, he had to fight many Sith. Fighting Sith, was one way Dash's group fell to extinction. Dash was the last one left and he needed to get back on track after the Sith held him hostage for more than 3 months. He searched everywhere looking for new companion and work, although the Republic paid him well, Dash was lonely. He encountered a very strong wookie named Tyyvark, who was fighting off slavers on Nar Shadda, and rescued him. Tyyvark swore a life debt to Dash, and they have been friends ever since.Dash Verne, and his wookiee companion Tyyvark, own one of the fastest ship in the galaxy, The Phoenix. He knows his way around the galaxy and has many friends and contacts. He didn't plan on joining the Republic but after an attack on his homeworld, Ord Mantell, he felt the urge to join. He has fought with bravery and has been kind to his friends. He is a person who you can trust to watch your back.

Your Application has been Approved.

Your next step upon the Path is to pass your Trial Membership.

You will need to:
- Post 15 meaningful posts on the Forums
- Post an Introduction of yourself (RP) on the Forums
- Create a registered Forums profile, complete with avatar
- Obtain an avatar for use in our Xat chats (primary room is our Citadel Chat)
- While in chat, make your name [AL]Mate Dash Verne
- Register with the guild on the SW:TOR site at http://www.swtor.com/guilds/5501/army-light

After you have been here a minimum of 1 week and have done the aforementioned, you must then interview with myself or Supreme Master Caliber Mispir to pass into Full Membership.

With that successfully completed, you will report to the acting Smuggler branch leader (Smuggler General John Shepard) for general class branch trainingand to General Bren Durron and Master Vyynn Randos for Squadron/Platoon assignment. Squadrons will act as your home within your home and help acclimate you to guild life and try to answer any questions you may have.
