I´m nearly 99% sure that I´ll play a Jedi-Knight. I just love the close combat Bioware has shown us.

I´m tending to Guardian right now. I always played a tank in previous MMO, so I´ll do it in SWTOR too. I think it is fun.

3. Please describe your knowledge of Star Wars? The more detailed the better, please:

Well, my knowledge of Star Wars. I am a fan of Star Wars for a few years now. Of course, Star Wars started very early for me. I remember sitting besides my father back when I was 6 and watching A New Hope. I was quite interested in Star Wars since I first saw the movies when I was 6 ( It was in a time when the old movies were running on TV with the new one (A Phantom Menance) freshly aired in cinemas across the country). Since then I watched the movies always as they were shown on TV, and with 8 I started to read a few Star Wars Comics and Books.

Until this day, 10 years later , I have read many Star Wars Books, played many Star Wars games, and such. So, as I am interested in Star Wars for so long, my knowledge has become above average. I´m not a specialist for Star Wars, but I tend to know many things about Star Wars

Well, I really liked this guild. It was quite fun playing with them from day 1 of World of Warcraft. Although they were good people, respectfull and funny at the same time, we somehow lost sight of each other as the Addons came out. After a long absence of the Guild Leader when Burning Crusade was in mid-times, we all took different routes. Some of us went to PvP Guilds, some went to Raid Guilds, and even some stopped with WoW emmediatly.

5. What type of role do you wish to take within the guild? How do you plan to be active? Please be specific.*

Well, I never wanted to be the "Leader" of something. I know that I have sometimes a week when I cant come online, even if I want. Pupils life is hard . So, I want a role in the backround. I want to be more the person helping the leader with different things, as raids or PvP battlegrounds instead of beeing the number one.

IF I get a role that involves dutys I am pretty dedicated to it. For example I took over the role of the Guild Leader of my current WoW guild for two Months in September and October when my Guild leader was on a LoA because of his wife. He asked me to do it, as he trusted me very much and he was thinking I would make a great leader. I did, bringing the guild a bit forward. However, as he returned he offered me the Second Guild Leader post, but I declined. I was not active at this time to be a Leader, school and such. That is one of my strenghts I think: I would never take anything like this without beeing sure to be able to put a lot of effort into it.

Well, as you see, I like to help where I can. This can be Photo-Edits, Making Videos, planning for Events etc. But I am not really the leader of all things, and I dont want to be either .


6. Why do you feel the Army of Light is a good fit for you?*

Well, I saw the "A new Army" Trailer on Youtube, and I really much liked the explanation of the Guild Members. To be at the front ranks, to be a fire of Hope for our friends. That is something I can really much identify myself with. I also take the concept of Duty, Loyality and Honor very seriously, as I think Loyality and Duty are things to be respected.

I looked around here, and I came to the conclusion that your Guild is a great fit for me, as you also take this very seriously.

7. What do you expect of the guild? Please be specific.*

What do I expect? Well, a pretty important question. I dont expect Hardcore gamers which want to clear the current Content in SWTOR within days. I expect a fun experience. I like the Idea of coming online, into an enviroment that I like to play in. I like familiar places. It always feels weird to get online, into a Guild you dont really know. I think I want people I can experience TOR with which are kind and funny, but also a bit mature. I dont want to clear content fast. I want to have FUN clearing it trough. And if I play in a team, for example on Taral IV, with Guild-mates which I know and which I like, the game is twice the fun. For me, it is not the best thing when I tell "You know, we cleared Taral IV in 10 Minutes. Pretty good, isnt it?". For me, the best thing to say is: "Hey, we cleared it in 5 hours . But hey, we had fun anyway ". You kind of get the idea. I dont want people who always just want to clear, I want people you can have fun with together

experience/expectations. Can you give us some examples of Role-Playing
you have participated in before. When it comes to expectations, give
us an example of what would be fun to participate in, what you are
looking for, etc.*

Well, I´m a part of Role-playing scenarios for some years now. I started of pretty early in World of Warcraft, back in times when Roleplay was fun to do, and not everyone was looking for ERP. I started of as a recruit in the "Guardians of Light" a Paladin and Warrior RP guild, and I worked my way up to a High Commandant. It took time, more then 2 years, but It was fun.

Well, my expectations. Even if I am a Role-player for so long, I am not somebody who places to high expectations into everybody. That doenst mean I like crappy RP, I just know that some people have not as much experrience as I have, or they are new to RP. So, I dont complain about something going wrong . I just look for RPs that are fun to participate in, Diplomatic, Combat, Councils, whatever .


11. How can you benefit and help the guild? Please include any skills or talents you have that you would
enjoy doing within the guild. How have you helped your previous guild(s), if you have previous experience?*

Well, I helped my previous guilds with all kinds of things. I was asked sometimes to set up RP-events as a Game Master, observing them and clearing mistakes, driving the plot forward, etc. I was always coordinating with the Horde for Example on one RP event where we brought supplies from Stormwind to Nethergarde. I was in TeamSpeak, talking to the Warchief of the Enemy Guild. Of course everyone was aware of this . I was able to set up pretty good traps for our players, and in the end it was fun for everyone. So this is one of my talents. I can plan things pretty good .

Another little talent is with GIMP. I can edit simple pictures, adding Lightsabers, change colors and such.

I am also a kind member, so everybody can ask me about help, either In-game or on the Board. And If I can, even if it requires to read some things up on google, I am very happy to help.

12. How do you define a quality member?*

I would define a quality member to be a helpfull member. Someone who cares for his Guildmates. Activity is a second place for me, as there are people who have many things to do in real life. There is family, there is school, there are other things. So this is a second. Even a member who is not online 24 hours a day can be a quality member.

Another definition of a quality member would be a member who is not just seeing the guild as a "thing to get items". There are players who take things, maybe from some sort of Guild bank, daily, but they dont do ANYTHING in return. And if you ask them about it they say "We are a Guild. We help each other.". A quality member should try to give something back. Not just items, but also activity, help, and appreciation.

Which a quality member should also do is to inform people about a LoA. Leaving everyone wondering about your current status because you were not online for 30 days without saying anything to your guildmates is a no-go. Atleast for me.

There are many things I see a quality member in, and the explanation would make this Application far too long. Even if there is maybe no too long, it would become quite long. But you should get the clue now. He should be loyal, helpfull, kind, and be a fun guy to play with.





13. How did you find the Army of Light? Did someone recruit you? If so, please let us know who.*

Well, I was just looking trough the SWTOR Boards, the Guild Hall, when I found your thread. I read through it and I said "Well, I think this guild is the kind of guild I was looking for."

I was not in your chat room as of now, but I read trough the stated above.
I can accept those things with no problem. As I think that Loyalty, Respect, Honor and maturity are things that provide a good daily guild life. I respect everyone around me, as I am Loyal to people I once said I would be Loyal to. I take Honor very serious, and I also act kind of Mature. Of course I joke around sometimes, but this is nothing that will start to grow worse. After a special line I draw back, because it would be too childish to go beyond it.
I also like no Drama, as I think Drama can destroy guilds.

Yes, I do.

commit?

I can commit to this without any doubt, as I do this myself.

15. Would you say that you embody the qualities of
Respect, Honor, Loyalty, and Maturity? What are your definitions of
these four words? Please don’t just answer yes or no, let us know why
you think you possess these qualities.*

Well, I think that I embody those qualities. I respect everyone around me, as it is something you have to do in order to life in those times where everybody has different religions or opinions. Without respect, without this acceptance of others, you cant come forward.
I also take Loyalty very serious, as I am not someone to break promies or oads.
Well, I also take Maturity very serious, as I think you can be a bit childish at some times, it is fun of course. But there are events in life where you have to be full mature, you have to make decision that will change life forever. And if this moment comes, you just have to be mature. Acting childish in such moments is unreasonable.
Honor is self explaining for me. As most people forgot about it, Honor is something you can life with. I rather throw myself into traffic for someone to save him while breaking a leg then standing aside. Even if people think "Is he mad". I know I am not. But standing there while this person maybe gets hurted way more then a broken leg, I would shame myself forever that I was not able to help.

16. Tell us about a time
you offered assistance to someone who did not ask for it but clearly
needed it. If you have never had this experience, tell us what you would do if faced with that situation?

Well, I face such things daily. In school, in the large city it is in, in the village I life. I help alot around here. Sometimes I help around the village. But you can help even in small events in daily life. I do it alot. I could add a list here with things I did. But all of those are small. I do it everyday. I just think it is right. Helping people at the train station, teaching someone in class about things he doesnt understand shortly before a class test .

Role-play Scenario (please tell us how you would handle the situation):
You are leading a group of 3 others through a forest on a remote moon
to destroy an enemy communications relay. Up ahead in a clearing, you
happen to spot a small Sith camp. Your group has not yet been spotted by
the enemy. You are reasonably well supplied for your mission, including
armaments. The clearing containing the Sith camp is not necessarily in
your direct path to reach your original mission objective. Attacking the
camp could alert the guards at the relay. However, attacking the relay without first dealing with the camp could mean enemy reinforcements from the camp. What do you do?

Well, as it is not necessary to attack it to get to the Com-Relay, I would do as follow:
I would dispatch two of my Soldiers to guard the Camp, informing me about movement. Together with the other Soldier I would go to the relay. As soon as I arrive there I would communicate with the two Soldiers, telling them to place some mines around the camp in the gras. As soon as they did they shall come back to me. When they arrive at the relay I would start my main mission with the relay. There is a small possibility that they attack when I start at the relais, but the explosions of the mines will warn us early enough to get a good ground, or maybe even to finish the job and get out before they arrive.
There is simply no reason to attack them first. They are not in my way, and also my Soldiers could get hurt. There is no reason I should have to order them to jump in there, risking theyr lifes for something that is not really necessary. The warning will come fast enough to give us time to retreat after the job is done. There is no need to engage them in combat. And even if there is not enough time, there is only one thing that I can do. I am theyr Leader. I have to ensure theyr safety. I would take my Lightsaber and go into the woods where they coming from while telling my soldiers to get away from here. I would distract the Sith-troopers long enough by using the terrain around me (Letting trees fall down, causing little glust of wind around them and waving dust into them so they cant walk further) until my man are far enough away. As they communicate with me I would also retreat.

character and the type of person you are (We wish to get a good feel of
the type of person that will be becoming a part

I am a quite person. I would describe myself as helpfull and kind, but also sometimes very bored person. More then that, I am a person who never gets tired of helping, so I think I am even more then helpfull. My Character is very open, I like to meet new people. Atleast if they are kind to me. But even a person I dont like is just an event which will bring me forward in life . I am also honest, and I am most of all, not a person who takes advice bad. Everyone can come to me, telling me if there is something I can do better in-Game, or in daily guild life. I dont take it bad, as I want to get better in the things I do. But I dont like if people talk bad about me behind my back. People can face me and tell me, I wont harase them with words. There is no reason to keep it away from me I will not become angry.

19. Tell us a little about your in-game character*
-Character Name: Ven Ziloy
-Character Physical/Mental Features: Ven is a kind and calm person. He is in peace with himself. He also has a calm mind and he thinks before he acts. He is around 6"1 tall, having a mid-long beard and long hair that covers his neck. Its of a light brown color, and green eyes are placed inside his face.
-Character Biography: Born as second son of Leron and Neraia Ziloy on Coruscant. He grew up in the upper part of the city, quite wealthy. There was nothing he couldnt get, and he was always surrounded by "friends". But at some day the young boy discovered his connection to the Force. Even more. He felt that pocession and money cant make his life happy. One day, at a investigation, Kel Dor Jedi Knight Kra La-gresh came to his house, asking his father a few questions. As the young boy approached the Jedi he asked the Kel Dor many questions. "How is Jedi life? Was the Training hard?". The Kel Dor was quite impressed about the interest, and also about the force sensitivity of the boy. After a close examination he took him to the Jedi-Temple.

After Ven was 5 he became a Initiate in the Order. He started serious training inside the Temple in 21 BTC. Lightsaber, Force Sense, and even Art of Movement where topics he was quite interested in. Nobody was able to denie the talent of the boy for the arts and ways of the Jedi. With 7 he was able to meditate for around 3 hours, obtaining a calm mind. The Jedi-Code was inside his mind, and it was the missing piece in his life. The thing that would make his life worth lifing.

When Ven turned 11, Kra came back to the Temple after a long time of absence in 15 BTC. The Kel Dor recognized the boy quite fast, becoming close with him. They talked alot, and after a short time the Kel Dor came to the decision that Ven was fitting to be his second Padawan. So he introduced Ven to his first and current Padawan, a Ithorian, and then took him on as second one. Together, all 3 traveled the known galaxy.

When Ven was 14 he constructed his first Lightsaber. Fitting for his practice of Soresu he choosed a design he could easily turn around in his hand, therefor it was not to large to handle. It was a single-bladed blue Lightsaber.

After Ven turned 17 the Ithorian became a Jedi-Knight, therefore Kra became a Jedi-Master. So Ven and Kra travelled now just the two of them, giving Ven a good training.

As Ven turned 24 he was able to undergo his trials, which were:

Trial of Courage: Engaging the experienced and fearsome Sith-Warrior Marek Loren in battle.
Trial of Skill: Defeating Marek Loren in a one on one battle on Nar Shaddaa.
Trial of Flesh: Encountering a terrible pain after his mother died in front of his eyes. Despite this loss he was able to overcome the pain, gaining control over his emotions again, staying loyal to the codex of the Jedi which says that there is no emotion, that there is peace. That there is no Death, that there is the force.
Trial of Spirit: Venturing deep into the Force-sensitive caves on Illum while constructing his second Lightsaber, defeating his evil side in Combat.

In 2 BTC, at the age of 24, Ven was made Jedi-Knight by the Council.

In 1 BTC, when Ven turned 25, he meet his two former Padawans Saria Le-ran and Kento Merais. He saw them first in action in a Tournament on Coruscant. Saria and Kento were both 13. It was their last chance on finding a master, otherwise they would have been send to Dantooine to serve the Agricultur corps. While Kento was quite good, Saria impressed him more with her abilitys. The young, strange pink haired girl, was able to fight with her Lightsaber as no one else in the arena, even in this young age giving herself into the Force. As both were standing against each other, Kento won the day. As he approached Ven he said to the Master: "I hope you saw this display of my skill and you will take me as your Padawan, Master Ziloy.". Kento was quite extroverdet, while Saria was more introverdet. Ven declared that he had to admit that Saria was quite good herself, so he said to her: "I´ll take you as my Padawan young girl. But as you both show great talent and good skills for your age, I´ll take you both on as my Padawans.".

The next years were full of training.The first trip was to Ragoon 6, where the young Padawans fould strenghern theyr bound with Ven. As this happened, they traveled the known galaxy together.

10 years later, after the recent events of the destruction of the Jedi-Temple, the New builded Jedi-Society on Tython, and the outbreak of the Cold War, Saria and Kento were both Knighted. While Saria became a skillfull sword-wielder Kento was good in using the Force. After theyr braids were cut off Ven was called into the Jedi-Council chambers, giving the Title of Jedi - Master.

As in 9 ATC, he took more duty in the war...

Note: The concept of one Padawan to one Master was first introduced during the Ruusan Reformation. After this event the Jedi agreed on laying down theyr armor, giving up theyr military titles like Jedi-Lord and disbanding theyr army. So the concept of having two Padawans at one time was quite standart during 3600 BBY.

Good application, but I have a doubt, you need to be Jedi Master to have padwans isn't it? I belive you can't in the rank of Knight, but I could be wrong. Good luck.
