Your Lightsaber form

So, which lightsaber form do YOU Prefer?

Heh, this is practically a trick question. All Jedi should answer Form 0 because Form 0 is not using your lightsaber. Peaceful negotiations are a far easier and more successful way of achieving something. But if I must draw my saber, I would choose form 6, Niman. Why? Because Niman is the way of balance, much like the Sentinel branch of the Order is.

I use form V, Djem So. Also, I use the sub-form Zero.

Form VII, the most dangerous to fall to the dark Side. I am content with this form because it feels that it would be allow me to understand my opponent, and be able to complete my task. Although dangerous the risk seems well worth the ability to push forward and accomplish a task.

Djem So

The utilization of Djem So allows the wielder to have a strong defense and an even stronger offense in the form of a counter attack. It was utilized by Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, and various others used form V in general.

Also the unorthodox combat style Zero is always a good one for any lightsaber user.

By the way I act, I'm more suited for Soresu (III), but my preference would be to reach the Niman(VI) form that seeks the best of all, a balance. Still the Hawk-Bat (IV) seems pretty good to use all your abilities to fight, so is a rough decision. By the way I could say that the Obi-wan's form is the more suitable for me, an trying to learn the Niman's way.

I'd prefer Ataru and Niman. Mabye Juyo a bit later, if I can overcome the joy of combat it would prove a valuable experience.

My character (RP) was unable to master the classic Jar Kai form, so he improvised a blending of Shien (Form 5) and Jar Kai (a style he dubs Shien Kai).

When one of his sabers is destroyed, or is otherwise forced/required to use a single blade, Vyynn uses Makashi.

I use paired lightsabers, (meaning the lightsabers can link up to form a double-bladed lightsaber. I think it was Kas'im in Darth Bane: Path of Destruction who owned one.

Anyway, I usually use two lightsabers, so I use Jar Kai.

However, if I use one, I usually resort to Ataru. Fast and agressive.

Master Of Ataru Yoda, Satele Shan

I'd prefer to use Form II : Makashi against lightsaber combatants or Soresu, mastery of defense.

I prefer Shien/ Djem so. Though my character has also mastered Soresu. Though I also prefer to be diplomatic. Though I never really liked Makashi.

I like how you added form 0 to the list All Jedi know that form. Anyways, the Form I prefer to use is Form V, especially the Djem So aspect of it. I prefer form V because of it defensive and offensive capabilities. The Shien "mode" of it is ideal for both deflecting blasters bolts and attacks from blades. Actually, the Shien aspect of Djem So was developed by Form III (Soresu {the most defensive form}) masters. The Djem So aspect of form V had the practitioner utilize force assisted strength and also used the force to borrow speed. Djem So was so effective, it was the best style to use against form II (Makashi {form developed for dueling other lightsaber wielding opponents})

At first i thought form IV becuase i like being fast, but i am natrually fast anyway so it would just increase a talent i already have.
Then i thought form VI since that is honestly the most Ideal out the of the 7 but then I saw number VII . . . I dont remember mace windu ever losing a fight ( anakin cutting off his arm dosnt count).
So, even though VI would be the best. VII is my style

Form 6, niman. The way of the diplomat. It's a serene form, almost a meditation which allows the force to flow very freely. It is also a form that creates very diverse and surprising movements and attacks/defences.

Perfect.

My character in RP would probably mostly use form V Shien / Djem So. But has master form VII Juyo / Vaapad for extreme situations.

form VII vaapad/juyo agressive yet controlled perfect for the double bladed lightsaber

I will use 7 vaapad/ juyo. I feel most comfortable with this form and have learned to be most successful with it, I am still struggling to learn how to suppress and control my emotions which hinders me as a jedi but this is one of the very few ways it is usefull.

i chose form 5 cause of those nasty blasters

Kind of a tossup for me. The Dual of the Fates battle from TPM really turned me on to Ataru (IV) back in the day. At the same time, Form V would likely be a more practical approach for my character, and suits his nature a bit more.
