My reading includes the SW:TOR book Fatal Alliance, the entire Darth Bane trilogy, all of the novels that immediately took place before, during, and after the prequel trilogy, all of the Thrawn books, the Jedi Academy Trilogy, all of the Legacy of the Force books, and all of the released Fate of the Jedi books. So, as you can see, I enjoy reading. I have also played several Star Wars games including Knights of the Old Republic I & II.

5. What type of role do you wish to take within the guild? How do you plan to be active? Please be specific.* I wish to have the fullest Role-Play experience available. Everything from the smallest chat conversation to in-game interactions should be conducted in-character. I plan to be active daily and participate in the learning plans that my Master and the guild lay out for me.

6. Why do you feel the Army of Light is a good fit for you?* I participated in a very long quiz on SWTOR.com with a variety of opinion-based questions. The Army of Light is the result I received. Upon further review of your TOR thread and your website, I was very impressed and feel that our relationship will be mutually beneficial.

7. What do you expect of the guild? Please be specific.* I expect an environment that is both supportive, educational, and friendly. Attentive leadership that will set a well-planned out Path before me for guild advancement is a must. Order and efficiency are mandatory. The more the guild invests in its members, the more we, in turn, can reinvest back into the guild.

10. Role-Play experience/expectations. Can you give us some examples of Role-Playing you have participated in before. When it comes to expectations, give us an example of what would be fun to participate in, what you are looking for, etc.* I have participated in tabletop D&D Role-Play before and did so for approximately a year. Regarding what would be fun to participate in, occasional forum story lines or chat room scenarios would be exciting. In general, however, I expect the medium to heavy Role-Play atmosphere promised and manifested in everyday speech and action.

11. How can you benefit and help the guild? Please include any skills or talents you have that you would enjoy doing within the guild. How have you helped your previous guild(s), if you have previous experience?* I possess extensive knowledge of the Star Wars universe and would be willing and able to share what I know with fellow guild mates, as I do enjoy teaching. In my previous guild, I feel I was best known for having the ability to seeing the "bigger picture" of any conflict that arose while still steadfastly supporting our leadership.

12. How do you define a quality member?* Simply put, a quality member is active, intelligent, mature, can demonstrate initiative as well as can follow orders, and puts the guild before themselves.

13. How did you find the Army of Light? Did someone recruit you? If so, please let us know who.* As stated above, I found the Army of Light via a guild-finder quiz result on SWTOR.com.

14a. Have you visited our website and chat room, and familiarized yourself with the, Charter, Mission Statement, and Rules of Conduct? (You must answer in the affirmative and please prove that you have)* Yes, I had performed all these things and studied the stated Rules, Purpose, and Mission of the guild at length. As proof, I will summarize said rules as "No Drama, Be Mature, Cause No Harm".

14b. Do you pledge to fulfill them, most notably to uphold the virtues of Maturity, Honor, Respect, Personal Ethics and No Drama?* Yes.

15. Would you say that you embody the qualities of Respect, Honor, Loyalty, and Maturity? What are your definitions of these four words? Please don’t just answer yes or no, let us know why you think you possess these qualities.* Yes, I do, though many of these terms are relative and personal to the individual answering the question. Respect is giving the proper treatment due to someone or something. Honor is upholding values and principles in a positive way. Loyalty is staying true to your friends, your guild, your ideals, and yourself. And lastly, I think "being Mature" can be defined as someone who is able to comprehend and practice the previous definitions I have given.

In more than 30 but less than 100 words, please describe your personal character and the type of person you are (We wish to get a good feel of the type of person that will be becoming a part of our guild family)* I am a bookworm but not anti-social. I am fiercely devoted to that which I believe and also to my friends. The part I am most looking forward to is Role-Playing a Jedi in an educational environment and becoming a part of the social fabric of this guild.

-Character Name: Mai Skyblade
-Character Physical/Mental Features: Human female, 5'7", 125lbs, muscular build. Black hair at waist length. Olive complected with gray eyes. Above average but not genius level intelligence. Very strong affinity with the Force.
-Character Biography: Mai was identified as a Force Sensitive at 14 months old on the Republic capital world of Coruscant and was taken for training with her parents' blessing. She would never see them again despite the close proximity and would not discover their fate after the Sacking of Coruscant in 3,653 BBY, though she herself survived the attack. The mental images of the Temple in ruins and the dead bodies of her former teachers were never forgotten and had a lasting effect on Mai. At the age of 7, she left Coruscant for the first time in her life during the Jedi exodus and relocation to Tython. Now, as a young woman, Skyblade has honed her affinity with the Force and has focused on making herself battle-ready for the inevitable day when the Treaty of Coruscant finally breaks and war erupts anew. Perhaps because of what she witnessed at a young age, Skyblade holds a deep reverence for instructors and an equally deep desire to extinguish the poison of the Dark Side.
