3. Please describe your knowledge of Star Wars? The more detailed the better, please: * Well I know i'm not a full blown fan, but i have seen all the movies loads of times, and i have played KOTOR back in the day.

4. Please tell us about your other guild/MMO experiences. If there is more than one guild/experience, please include all of them. If you left your last guild, please tell us why you decided to leave. If you have used more than one name, please list them all.* i have never been on a guild in TOR, But i've played Runescape, and i've been at least a dozen clans in that game over the course of 7 years, so i know what clan or guild-life expects of me.


5. What type of role do you wish to take within the guild? How do you plan to be active? Please be specific.* Well i want to be in a guild that has friendly helpful people that I can bounce ideas off of while enjoying the game. Yes i am highly active, checking online when i can.

6. Why do you feel the Army of Light is a good fit for you?* I want to start in the game having a community of players that have my back and AL seems well organized.

7. What do you expect of the guild? Please be specific.* A friendly community, I would love for some planned events to happen in the future when the game releases

8. Age* (Must be 16+): I'm 19, fresh and waiting to be mentored!

10.Role-Play experience/expectations. Can you give us some examples of Role-Playing you have participated in before. When it comes to expectations, give us an example of what would be fun to participate in, what you are looking for, etc.* Well I've roleplayed on the MMORPG Runescape before. There i led a clan of about 50 players in a clan named "Glory of Saradomin" Saradomin being one of the gods of runescape. I was also an active participant in the RPing forums.

11. How can you benefit and help the guild? Please include any skills or talents you have that you would
enjoy doing within the guild. How have you helped your previous guild(s), if you have previous experience?* I'm helpful, good listener, always ready to learn, an eager leader, and loyal follower.

12. How do you define a quality member?* quality over quantity is how i made clans last in RS. So i think i know alot about that, Most people mass spamed their invitations to random people. I and my recruiters stood back from it al, and when we saw a recruit that looked promising, we talked to them in the game very casually, got to know them and then if it seemed they were as good as we hoped we invited them.

13. How did you find the Army of Light? Did someone recruit you? If so, please let us know who.* Found it by random chance

14a.Have you visited our website and chat room, and familiarized yourself with the, Charter, Mission Statement, and Rules of Conduct? (You must answer in the affirmative and please prove that you have)* I visited the guidelines section before posting here, umm i really don't know how to prove that :3 umm if i remember there are 6 rules for using the forums, then there were the administrative rules

14b. Do you pledge to fulfill them, most notably to uphold the virtues of Maturity, Honor, Respect, Personal Ethics and No Drama?* oh yes because I wish the same in return.

14c. The Army of Light wishes to have members who take the concept of Commitment and Loyalty very seriously. By applying and if accepted, you are taking an Oath to both the guild and your guild-mates here. Is this something to which you can commit? It is.

15. Would you say that you embody the qualities of Respect, Honor, Loyalty, and Maturity? What are your definitions of these four words? Please don’t just answer yes or no, let us know why you think you possess these qualities.* In, Runescape, there are 3 Jagex (company that made RS) Factions, these are The Lords, The Judges, and The Reavers. The Lords embodied those very four words, out of the countless thousands of Lords in the faction, only 10 were chosen by Jagex to act as 'Sages', moderators in the chats, on the forums, etc, for their faction i don't wish to brag but i was one of these Sages untill i retired from RS.

Respect is a two way street but i believe that if treat others fairly then the favor will be returned.
Honor is never going back on your word. If you say you will do something and you don't you have lost the credibility of your word, and in the end that will hurt worse then any physical punishment.
Loyalty is standing behind a friend when they need you the most, that even though you may have doubts occasionally, if they truly believe in something you back them no matter what.
Maturity is never an age, I've seen 14 year old kids with more maturity then their adult counterparts, Maturity is the ability the think reasonably before speaking, respecting others' points of view, and the ability to admitt when you're wrong.

16. Tell us about a time you offered assistance to someone who did not ask for it but clearly needed it. If you have never had this experience, tell us what you would do if faced with that situation? Oh, in Runescape, they recently changed the tuturial, which many players actually hate because it really doesn't explain the game well at all. Me and my twin brother were apart of this organization that on certain days went to the starting point in RS known as Lumbridge and answered questions, gave tours aorund RS, gave basic money making tips, even gave items.

17. Role-play Scenario (please tell us how you would handle the situation): You are leading a group of 3 others through a forest on a remote moon to destroy an enemy communications relay. Up ahead in a clearing, you happen to spot a small Sith camp. Your group has not yet been spotted by the enemy. You are reasonably well supplied for your mission, including armaments. The clearing containing the Sith camp is not necessarily in your direct path to reach your original mission objective. Attacking the camp could alert the guards at the relay. However, attacking the relay without first dealing with the camp could mean enemy reinforcements from the camp. What do you do?

If i were in command, it is not pratical to attack an outpost if you may be under attack from your backs as well. Taking out the small sith camp would be risky but a price that is worth being paid. I would advise my 3 other men to take up long range weapons (having no idea if silencers is even an option) I would then take one man and make my way to the west of the camp and the 2 others to the east, and upon being signaled, each kill a lone target, in the enemies confusion on being attacked from multiple sides, we kill them all with little resistance and continue on towards the objective.


18. In more than 50 but less than 200 words, please describe your personal character and the type of person you are (We wish to get a good feel of the type of person that will be becoming a part
of our guild family - a very important question!)* A quiet Jedi, only giving his opinion after fully considering a situation. Very kind, caring, and gentle man, he finds it very hard to kill another living person and will only do so under extreme conditions or ordered to do so. I want my character to reflect who i am, i've never been a big fan of PvP and only do so under certain circumstances.


19. Tell us a little about your in-game character*
-Character Name: Von'dur Kelm
-Character Physical/Mental Features: Standing about 6 foot 2 inches, he has an average body build of about 180 pounds. Long brown hair he keeps back that reach to about his shoulders. Light brown eyes contrast the darkness of his hair in a slightly odd way.
-Character Biography:

Born in the very heart of the Republic, Von'dur knew very little of the outside worlds. His parents, over-bearing and fearful of the dangers of the galaxy, kept him at arms reach thoughout his childhood. He was properly educated in the finiest schools, and kept in the best of company. Von'dur knew not of danger and never questioned his life untill one day his town was viciously attacked. being only 14 years of age, in the chaos that insued he did the only thing he could think of; find his family. Through the bombardment, buildings collapsing, fires spreading, the always present screaming of the innocent as background music, he finally came upon the remains of the building he once called home, and the bodies of his mother and father and his 2 older brothers, shot in the back with blasters. Through the weeping he heard footsteps behind him, no longer caring if he lived or died, he challenged this new stranger, the stranger did not speak, but all he did was catch the boys raging fists and embrace him in a hug, telling the boy, "I am a jedi, and as long as i am here, no harm will come to you." Von'dur, only hearing the Jedi in stories, looked up at the kind looking man, and went with him to safety away from the wreckage of the city.

Since then, the boy has been taken in by the Jedi order as a padawan, he is still pained with the screams of those innocent souls and vows one day he will be strong enough to save those who can not save themselves. He still looks for a master he can call his.

looks good, might want to add some more detail to the character Biography, but over all looks very good

Not bad, Like Raj said, expand a bit more on your Char bio. As we are an RP guild this is required sooner or later. Just have fun with it. Give him an age and a personality.

And you're planning on coming from Runescape straight into ToR? Should be an experience lol. It was for me when I went from playing Runescape for 3 years into WoW haha.

switching the name of my character to Von'dur Kelm. sounds more star wars-ish i think then lumight, though it will continue to be my account name on SWTOR
